Stability Ball - What a workout!

Friday, April 20, 2007

Yesterday I bought a stability ball (I just want to have more variety in my workouts) but what I was not expecting was that inflating the ball would be such workout itself! I followed the directions and did not use a compressor. When I finally finished it I was completly sweeting and felt like I had just run a marathon! LOL But now it is fine, after all, today I'll be able to use the ball with exercises!

That's funny because I bought a 65 cm. one and a 21 year old girl pumped it up for me and had no trouble and she is not fit. Far from it. The pump I got was one that you pumped with your foot not your hands maybe that was the difference.

You know what? I bought my stability ball this past June. I had such a tough time trying to inflate it that I almost gave up and threw it in the garbage. But I didn’t. I borrowed someone’s bicycle pump – a real one and not the little miniature one that came in the box – and I was up and running. I am glad I did not quit.
