So, as anyone who read yesterday's entry might have guessed, I broke down and overate last night (especially the sweets) because I was too hungry all day, and I didn't satisfy my body's needs. It was disheartening to see all the hard work I had done to be good during the day go to waste by my late-night eating. My only reassurance is that, had I not been focusing on my eating, I probably would have eaten those sweets anyway, and at least I had a smaller total calorie intake for the day. I am still disappointed by my loss of willpower though. I have decided to move forward with a new strategy, to avoid a catastrophe like last night. I am aiming to eat more satisfying food, and to focus less on coming in at my minimum calorie count, and focus more on eating more balanced foods that will fill me up and keep me from being hungry all day. Started the day off with what I think is the absolute best food in the entire world, EGGS!! Eggs are unbeatable (excuse the pun!) when it comes to providing protein and nutrients at a low calorie count. They are satisfying, sustaining, and tasty! Add a cup of coffee with a little skim milk, a couple clementines for my sweet tooth, and a few glasses of water, and I'm ready for a fun and focused day! And I'm going to need that energy and focus! Got some tough classes today! I do want to do some exercise today, cuz I missed out yesterday (another disappointment, but today is a new day!). I also want to make my 8 glasses today!!! The boy is coming over for the weekend tonight, so I have the challenge of deciding if we should eat out, cook dinner, or just order in a pizza (which I have been craving all week!). Time to see what we have in the fridge, and what Sparkrecipes can cook up for us!!
