Great Week

Friday, February 01, 2013

Wow my first day back at work is hard the next day. I frequently wake up with a killer headache due to a disruption in my "normal" sleep pattern. It usually goes away with a couple of Excederine equivalents, but never fast enough it seems. There have been some positive reports and more concerns with the job. It is always changing and always rewarding.
Yes I am excited about the new position. I will be surveying the girls when they return home to see how they are feeling and how they measure their own success. They will take the information I provide and research it and that of others to see where our weaknesses and strengths are in the services we provide. It will include some travelling so I may get to see my good friend that lives three hours away when otherwise, I might not.
I got a call from my daughter last night. She went to a doctor to see what it will take to get her collar bone back in working order. It is only misaligned and will leave a tiny scar and have only a four week reconvery period. She will be able to return to waitressing and yoga when it is healed. She was ecstatic. It was good to hear the excitement in her voice. Now if we can only figure out how to handle the problem that caused the broken collar bone to begin with.
My Bible study yesterday was fantastic. We are going into previously uncharted areas for many of us and our eyes are being opened to see things we never knew were possible before. Funny but that is what is on... seeing. Oh to walk where I was intended to walk!
It has been a good week, tough my work week is just beginning. I hope that yours was good as well.
