My experiment is one day down now.

Exercising before breakfast was a big change for me and I thought to myself ....Self why didn't you think this out more.....LOL I was wishing I had said exercise before snacks not meals.. hehehe then I thought well it's only 15 minutes but when I started that fifteen minutes it seemed like forever ....ahhhhhh what did I get myself into I thought as I was waiting for the timer to go off....15 minutes really why didn't I say 5 minutes hehehehe This showed me I still had issues that needed to be addressed. I did get through the morning workout and then I could have breakfast whenever I was hungry....one workout down. emoticon

Now I figured it was a nice day so I would combine my workout times for lunch and dinner and one snack which meant I had to walk for at least 45 minutes...I did over an hour....but was I defeating my purpose for this experiment....have to give it some more thought.

Think I am going to modify this experiment to this....promise to do at least 45 minutes during the day for my three meals....my meals are not my issue...snacking when I am not hungry is which means promising to exercise before I snack is a better idea. Hoping it will get me to delay the snacking and maybe by the time I am done with the workout I will not want to snack. LOL Yea that is what I hope happens or I choose not to snack because I am not willing to exercise at that moment in time. LOL either way it is a win win for me.

Going to see how this new process works...

Doing this not to lose weight quickly, just want to retrain my mind for the long haul....once I get to goal I want to be able to maintain it so I have to come up with ideas that work for me.

This new idea which is why I am calling it my experiment is just one new way for me to change how I approach eating. Just like finding exercises that I enjoy doing and will continue doing for life....if I don't enjoy doing it then the plan will fail....but I will never give up trying to figure out what works best for me and a lifestyle that is healthy.

It's not just about being thin...it's about feeling strong and having a body that can do things I enjoy....it takes time and effort but a strong healthy body is worth whatever it takes.

    Okay Lisa, I know I told you I would try this today, but for some unknown reason (except that I guess I was working out too many days and not resting enough) my body was so tired today that I did not do 1 lick of exercise and that is so unlike me. So, I will try this tomorrow.

    I love morning workouts after a long day at work the last thing I REALLY wanna do is workout. Some times but not really even if there is more time to get in every body part & cardio too....lol
