got that strange feeling again.

Friday, February 01, 2013

It's back. haven't done anything different but again today I feel dizzy and light headed as well as foggy. I am drinking the eletrolit drink and eating a banana and taking some homeopathic stuff. I just so frustrated as I would really like to know what happens with these episodes. I have been to so many doctors and had so many test though that I don't believe they will turn anything up. It is just so weird that I can be feeling so great one day(yesterday) and then the next day be aweful. sure wish I could get to the bottom of this.
Hope you all are doing better than me.
Have a terrific day.

I used to get really dizzy when I would stop taking my allergy medicine. Turned out it was my blood pressure dropping! My BP would get really high due to the decongestant. I stay away from that stuff for sure now!

So sorry you are not feeling well again. I know about that because I have Meniere's Disease and the episodes come on all of a sudden. Good luck and lots of love!!!!

I'm wondering if you eat enough through out the day. I know some people think you should never eat at night but studies show that your body needs fuel, even after 7:00. Have you thought about having a piece of toast with peanut butter or almonds or yogurt about an hour before you go to sleep? Just a thought.

Sallie do you have this when there is a change in the weather? Last evening a front came through my area and it felt like 2 elephants on my chest. It was about 3:30 this morning before I could even walk upstairs to go to bed. I have found when the barometric pressure drops it really effects my breathing. I hope you are feeling better soon.

You've had a couple good responses (ideas)

One of my teams is about natural remedies, etc. It is a wonderfully active team and any time I've asked a question I've had many responses. EJ, the leader is fabulous! Go to my page and click on the team.

I hope this passes quickly. emoticon

Unless you had this situation before the items you listed - you must go off all the things you have added to your diet. For example: I have started to have severe lower back pain and pain on the inside of my elbows, knees and ankles. I tried everything to figure out what the problem was. I found out it was the Vitamin D I was taking. I tested this out by taking it and stopping it different 3 times. Pain came back each time. Then I started a Multi vitamin 3 months ago - I started to have back pain again - it apparently was the vitamin. I am now 71 and I guess the body can't take nutrients like it use to. The point is - who would have guessed the pain was from taking something that is suppose to be healthy. My Dr. said 'He has never heard of this type of situation before' - go figure!!! Best wishes to a healthy recovery...

PS: I can't eat Bananas - it get muscle pain when I do...and I love them!

Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well.
I used to get dizzy and light headed and my
GP checked my ears and something was not right.
He called it BPV - Benign Positional Vertigo and
just gave me some exercises to follow. Next time
maybe get your ears checked. It went away after
a while. Feel better soon. emoticon

Could you have allergies? I'm sure you've already looked into this though. Feel better, Sallie!

    Oh, no!
I'm very sorry, Peanut, but you know how to take care of this.
Your body is so small and delicate.

I had a serious head injury a few years ago. Used to get headaches. But now I just get dizzy & light-headed. It has to do with the change in weather. High or low air pressure. A friend also reacts the same way & she's never had a head injury. I think some of us are more sensitive than others.
Good luck.

If you are going to get sick, get something common. Doctors know what to do. When you have something rare, you rarely get good treatment. Do search your symptoms online and see if you can come up with a theory or two to check out. That method helped me once.

So sorry you are feeling rough. I have a CD with meditation for control of pain (glove anesthesia) that helps somewhat whenever I feel bad, although I definitely would not be a candidate for using a self-induced trance instead of anesthesia for surgery, as they promote. Massage and hot baths always make me feel better when I'm feeling lousy. Hope you find just what works for you!! -Marsha

These days it sure seems like it is hard to get a diagnosis from our doctors. It's like we have to be our own doctor, do our own research and self diagnose ourselves.
I feel you will get an answer and get on the road to recovery soon.
Keep us posted.
