Exercise- Plan B

Friday, February 01, 2013

My digestive issues does not have to stop my exercise. Yes going to the pool may be out, but there still are many avenues for exercise that can be explored.
BIGLITTLEWOMAN's blog reminded me about Leslie Sansone's walking program. (Thank You) Granted my input level may not be stellar... but what counts is doing what I can when I can.

Just because I have issues does not mean I have to totally curl up into a ball and wait to heal. Doing gentle stretches and daily walking helps to increase the blood flow which aids healing.

I should check out chair dancing.... OMG... there is chair dancing for seniors with limited mobility to chair dancing Burlesque for flirty girls. Who would have thought there would have been so many options for chair dancing.

What are your options to keep active when your have limitations either physical or due to weather?

Definitely! Sometimes we even need a Plan C! Good luck and hope that shoulder gets to feeling better sooner rather than later!!

Punting is key to survival in most everything. I admire your positive thinking and applaud you over and over again. Thanks for reminding me not to throw out the baby with the bath water. emoticon When we are served lemons, we make lemonade. emoticon

When my knee was worst, I did chair exercise. I was amazed at how out-of-breath and perspiring I got!

You are energizing others with your just-do-it attitude!
