Okay yesterday I was a bit bummed with my weigh-in. Had a doctors appointment and of course you always have to weigh-in and I was like huh??!!! Gain at home loss in doc office. Well I weighed much later than normal so... I thought ... weigh this morning and see. I was down 2#s and I didn't workout yesterday!!! Oh I give in with the scale...I'm just going to focus on doing what i need to do and if it moves it moves... geeezzzzz
So yesterday I had a great doctor report. What they saw on my CT scan is normal after surgery, per the surgeon. My primary wanted me to go have it checked out. Funny thing is they saw 1 cyst on the ct scan when I got to the doctors yesterday and they did the ultrasound there were 2. For what the doc says these types of cyst appear and disappear so.... However, I still feel yuckie at various times, still have the discomfort in my side so he recommended I go see my GI doctor just to check. So I'll schedule that appointment today.
Now here's what I'm trying to do now. Stop my fast food/eating out or cut back A LOT! I've located some crockpot meals and I'm going to try that route.
I'm going to continue my lunch time walk and stairs.
I'm attempting a squat challenge for the month of February. Squats daily. There's a chart created by this young lady I follow on YouTube...today is 20 squats.
I'm going to do my couch25k - in the neighborhood on my way home, where I use to walk. Then I'll go to the gym for the elliptical stepper and bike.
I will get in my strength training daily.
I will workout at least one day on the weekend. Tomorrow I have a funeral out of town so I'll probably be gone all day. It's about 2-3 hours away.
I will increase my water intake. I'm suppose to get in 136 ounces according to the half your weight protocol.
I've only been drinking about 64-80 ounces a day. Well I also drink 24 ounces of gatorade during my workout. I just can't stomach water during my workouts makes me nauseous.
So these are the adjustments I'm going to make to my routine.
I decided to get some laundry and cleaning done yesterday, since I didn't go in to work after my appointment. I wasn't feeling too good after that so I decided to chill on the workout. I must admit I was a bit discouraged with my weigh-in at first but then after the doctor and this morning - I'm like WHATevaaaaa....
So here's to adjustments and keeping a positive attitude. I will not be defeated --- God is with me even in my struggles.
