Why so slow?

I've been eating between 1200 and 1500 calories and exercising and still only lost 1/2 pound this week. I've only lost 5 1/2 pounds this entire month. What am I doing wrong? Others have lost almost 10.

This is very discouraging.

    still more have lost 0-1! You are losing!!! That is the important part! You are obviously doing something RIGHT!!!
