January was a VERY successful month for me. I lost 5.4 poounds for the month. I feel really good and for a change, I have not had a bout of flu or cold this winter - a few threats in the fall but so far nothing that has really laid me low enough to miss work. We have had a lot of days off due to weather - have to make them up later but I don't care because right now they are really helping both the kids and us adults survive the winter blahs. I have reduced my ins ulin by 15 units and still staying well within my expected ranges for blood su gars. My knees have been good DESPITE the cold and it has been a little over a week since I have NEEDED the P A I N meds. Overall - I would say this has been a GREAT start for the new year.
Plans for February are simple - I intend to KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON and move forward. As my knees hurt less in spite of the really REALLY cold temperatures, I expect to increase my E X E R C I S E. and keep eating healthier foods and keep up my positive attitude. It is so much easier to do ANYTHING when my attitude and mood stay positive. No school to start this month which s uits me just fine. We go shopping on Sunday and I plan to really go heavy on the fruits and veggies.
