I weighed 460 pounds(see my picture below) when I started my journey and I've lost 250 pounds of that. (See my first picture from this weekend.) Not without exercise though, which is vitally important if you want your skin to go back in place, even a little bit. Drink your water, moisturize with coconut oil and exercise. HOW? WHEN YOU CAN'T WALK OR BE ON YOUR FEET? WHEN YOU'RE IN PAIN or DISABLED? Here's how! A few minutes at a time with the Chair Exercise team. www.sparkpeople.com/mysp ark/groups_individual.asp? gid=32265 Here are some pictures of me doing chair exercise and a link to some videos put out by our own Dear Emmabe1 of the Chair Exercise Team to help encourage you. www.youtube.com/user/Cha irExerciseTeam?feature=mhee
Here is a link to a great website that specializes in Chair Exercise, also by our own, Emmabe1. chairexercisefun.com
Inspirational! I keep *meaning* to exercise more, but allow pain to get in my way (although I do sometimes go ahead and workout *in* pain simply because I figure it is better than simply being in pain). It is great to know there is a team to turn to; the idea never occurred to me before reading your post. So thanks, and good work!
LADY EVERY TIME I READ YOUR BLOGS I AM SO MOTIVATED TO DO THIS.
I have come to the conclusion motivation isn't enough. I need to seek concelling to deal with my demons to succeed. You help me keep on track and keep me pushing. THANK YOU
I can see why it touches you so profoundly, to inspire others to take action too,
I really can't believe it when I've been in the hospital with my friend, and the only thing the physical therapist does is have her go for a ride in her chair or turn over in bed.
They never have a plan, they have given up on her.
The only exercise I can do right now is really chair exercising. I've been resisting it because it made me feel like I was weak. Your blog post just blew me and that thought away! My friend has challenged me to chair exercise every night this week. I am going to use your blog post and the links to start. Thank you! You continue to inspire me
Thanks for the links. I am recovering from a tendon repair in my right foot. I am determined to exercise everyday and have been so thankful for the seated workout videos on Spark. There aren't many though and it would be nice to change things up a bit.
