Jumped on the scales this morning and wasn't surprised to see the numbers gone up by 7lb. Already I've eaten cake which was delicious but that's it no more. I've kidded myself that it was alright eating garlic bread, ciapatta with loads of butter and marmite & thought if I did some exercise then I'd work the calories off but that wasn't to be. I knew bread was my weak point but continued to eat it. Well my next move is to get out the Slimming world mags and go through the recipes deciding which to have for at least 7 days and sticking to them, bearing in mind my husband's annoying vegan diet!!! Vegan food is great but occasionally I like to eat some meat and fish but have to cook it for 1. The other thing I thought of was doing the recipes for 4 and freezing 3 if I use meat. Last night my niece made a delicious salad swimming in salad dressing - naughty but nice and I had that just before bed. I hope others in my household join me in enjoying these low cal meals. But I'm not going to force anyone, when they see how I'm benefiting they'll want to know. And I refuse to eat any more of their over the top in fat and sugar meals.
