Fantastic Friday

Friday, February 01, 2013

Really blew it with Smartie's yesterday. I love those crazy things and bought a bag of them and ate them. Then I finally came to and counted all the wrappers in my trash and had eaten 400 calories of them. What a waste of calories. I realized I was eating them without thinking just kept reaching for the draw and getting 3 more out at a time.

Going to the Home Show tomorrow to get ideas for the kitchen. Hubby keeps putting me off removing kitchen wall paper until we decide what we want to do in there.

Been a slower week at work. Boss is redoing his kitchen too and hasn't been in much. Therefore we've been working slower it seems. Slow season for us anyway. When tax refunds roll around things will pick up. We should appreciate the slow time. We should be working on preparing files to scan...but we just get slower.

Off to make it a great day!

I had to laugh when I read about your smarties. My mom is addicted to those things and eats several bags a week. I like the taste of them but don't buy them for the same reason you described. The only other thing you could do is only take 3 at a time into work with you. Problem solved!!..

Have a great Friday ~ Donna

How about chomping on bubble gum or sugarless gum, or baby carrots? Something has to be better than Smarties (although I remember them). Hoping you have a wonderful day, Kathleen! emoticon
