Quote for Thursday and for every day......:)

Friday, February 01, 2013

"He who can no longer pause to wonder
and stand rapt in awe,
is as good as dead;
his eyes are closed."

- Albert Einstein

so true.......if we cannot spare time to gaze about us in wonder and awe at all the wondrous creation around us, including would be a very dull existence indeed.

    As in all things - we take them for granted. It is good to be reminded.

I keep meaning to try to figure out again how to get a pretty or cute background on my page but I've been putting that off for days. I'm the best procrastinator, shame on me--LOL!

    It would indeed be a very dull existence. Praise God that He saw fit to create such an awesomely wonderful world and put us in it so we could see His handiwork and enjoy each day to its fullest. Thank you for reminding me to stop and enjoy all the beauty around me. Hugs! Sharon

    I often think of the old Sandi Patti song "That's The Love Of God" where she says,

    "What made God take so much care
    To make creation glow?
    He could have made it black and white
    And we'd have never known."

    and I thank God for all the beauty He put into the world just for us. God is AWESOME!
