Sucker Punched!

So, Thursday was non-stop, bang my head on a brick wall, fall over and get kicked in the breadbasket kind of a day.

6:20am - My wake-up call was first shift staff "texting" out, meaning Team Lead (me) had to scramble in early to cover. A few minutes later my friend texts they're dropping by for breakfast. "There's the yourself...bye!"

7:45am - Roll into work & hit the ground running!

(No Breaks...No Lunch Break...desking it with my pre-planned meal & snacks. Good job!)

2:15pm - Team member resigns during my team meeting - UGH!!! We're already short-staffed!!! (Glad for him because it sounds like a great opportunity!) Crestfallen!

4:00pm - Son calls - driver ed appointment at 5:30

4:15pm - My brother texts "can he come over for dinner?" Sure.

5:45pm - My friend turns up again, sick like I NEVER want to experience. I cook a big spaghetti dinner for my brother, not me, and no one else feels like eating...except for me.

(Eat a handful of Doritos? or starve? - eat Doritos.)

6:15pm - Run to pick up my son then straight to the store for cold meds for my friend.

7:30pm - Community band practice - late. After practice I drop off car for other son. Get ride home.

9:00pm - Eat a sandwich wrap for a late dinner because really, what's the point of cooking gourmet when you're going to starve to death in a minute.

9:45pm - Sitting down, looking at my SP Challenge Team and my Workout After Work Team. Did I feel like working out? NOOOOOO! I felt like a mashed potato!

10:15 - Caught some Team Spirit and I DID IT ANYWAY! Better late, than never.

11:15 - Am I tired? (I thought I was tired before I pulled up those SP videos!) Heck, yeah, I'm exhausted! But I'm not discouraged, like I would have been if I hadn't met my "Official 10-Minute Daily Exercise Streak Challenge" goal!

12:15am - Pondering how this SP teams and challenges stuff might be very motivating in ways I had not thought possible... Thinking about sneaky SP Coaches and their little head games! Glad they're on our side...

12:16am - Wait a min...hey, "Exercise...Challenge" whaaa??? I exercised when I felt like crud? DOH! I FELL FOR IT!!!! SUCKER!!!!
