Slower Workout

Thursday, January 31, 2013

I tried to do want my trainer suggested today. I had a small piece of turkey before lunch. Then while the kids were sleeping I walked on the treadmill for 50 min and kept my heart rate @125. But tonight when I went to the gym and worked on the elliptical after a leg strength workout, I had a difficult time keeping my heart rate down. I had it between 130-135. I was even trying to go slower. This will be interesting. I will talk to my trainer for some more tips.

Daily Goals:

2) Exercise at least 10 minutes. emoticon 104 min
3) Eat at least 3 freggies a day emoticon 4 servings

This may be part of the success where the calm of yoga adds to a person's overall fitness plan. Keep up the great work!

The elliptical is a lot different than the treadmill, for me at least. I think you tend to go faster on it and it's harder to go slower. It will be interesting to hear what your trainer says about it.

Good luck with your trainer! It sounds like he/she is helpful!

I like the way you record your goals and add the icon showing you met them!

Keep on keeping on!
