Interesting concepts....

Hello everyone!
Well 3 weeks now of no eggs, gluten/wheat or milk or PEANUTS! Soynut butter is JUST NOT the same, but I have acquired the taste for my gluten free rice cakes....*eye-roll*
I am down about 5lbs, still kicking butt at the gym, no migraines! YAY!
I have been watching a few Youtube videos of the concept of "juicing"
You use a juicer and drink fresh fruits and veggies for 10 to 60 days....
Has anybody done this?
I am considering this just for the anti-inflamitory properties that most fruits and veggies offer...especially since of the allergens that I am aware of. However, I would be adding my vegan protein to the juicing due to my muscle mass of about 40%. Ideas? Suggestions?

I have been juicing for 8 yrs now. I have an Omega 8005 as well as a Cuisinart juicer. I am currently doing a 14 day juice cleanse. Today was Day 5. I designed the cleanse myself for me and 3 other people. I've been studying nutrition for a while. I have a fruit smoothie (with fiber) in the morning, veg juice all day, and then a light supper with some whole grains - tonight was swiss chard sauteed with bell peppers and onions and dried cranberries and served with brown rice.

I am not trying to lose weight, but I am focused on using juice and a flesh-free/dairy-free/gluten free/processed food-free diet to give my digestive system a break and detox.

I do about 4-6 juice cleanses a year, but this is my first time doing a 14 day one. Mine are usually much shorter - only 3-5 days. When not cleansing, I juice daily, but just once a day (it is expensive to juice 3x a day or more!), and I normally am not gluten free - just veg. Because of this cleanse and how awesome I'm feeling, I just made the decision to go vegan again. I have been vegan or vegetarian for over 2 decades.

The other people that are doing this cleanse with me are carnivores who normally eat a lot of processed food, and they have all lost 2 lbs each already.
