I made it to the gym this morning and I got a decent workout accomplished even though I couldn't get to a couple machines that I'd planned on. The place was pretty busy this morning.
The school day came after breakfast and am thankful it went much quicker today. After lunch I left the kids home and headed out to run a few errands. Wasn't long and I was so tired all I could do was take a nap. Then I took Maegann to Bible study. She was so excited to finally get started with this group and she had a wonderful time. She said Miss Ivy even cried when she asked if she was to be grateful when she is bullied by kids at church. (They were studying gratefulness.) Made Orange Chicken with Jasmine Rice for dinner and then I had the hubby help get IMAP set up with my email so it would sync better with my phone and Kindle. Now we're watching Dick Van Dyke before the kids head to bed.
Good news! The spending plan is done for for Isaac's gov't money! Now it is on its way to our caseworker for final approval and then we can begin hiring people to work with him and to buy some sensory equipment that he needs. Feels so good finally being at this point after a year!
Tomorrow.... I think I will head to the gym again since I've missed so many days. Will do school with the kids and then nothing else planned until evening when Jenn comes for dinner and games.
NIGHT SNACKING CHALLENGE - DAY 31
One night to go and I've made it through my month with only 3 evenings that were not as planned! Whoo Hoo!
Tomorrow I will begin my February challenge and I am 99% sure I'm going to tackle weighing and measuring.
For we who have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on God) do enter that rest, in accordance with His declaration that those [who did not believe] should not enter when He said, As I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest; and this He said although [His] works had been completed and prepared [and waiting for all who would believe] from the foundation of the world. (Hebrews 4:3)
Trust in Him. If you are worrying about your problems, give your brain a break! Go do something and get yourself off your mind. Show God that you trust Him by turning your problems over to Him so that He can care for you and you can enter His rest.
(Joyce Meyer "Trusting God Day by Day")
