February Goals

My attainable goals for February remind me to think about the small steps to the big goal.

emoticon Study 3 to 4 times per week for Praxis II exams.

emoticon Take time for myself & relax.

emoticon Create flashcards for myself to study while exercising.

emoticon Increase my daily strength training time to 10 minutes per day. Bare minimum of 5 per day. Barb, 1CRAZYDOG, inspired me to a plank a day regimen. I will pull out my exercise playing cards and learn some new moves.

emoticon Continue teaching Isaac letters and their sounds.

emoticon Begin volunteer work with Friends of Literacy. My class on Feb. 13th will teach me how to teach illiterate adults how to read. Then I will volunteer once a week during my lunch.

emoticon Continue Half Marathon training. April 7th is getting cloooooser!! I'm registered & very excited!! Ran 9.5 miles last Sunday, and I'm looking forward to another 9 this Sunday.
