Day 153, Loving Myself Healthy

Thursday, January 31, 2013

Today has been a mixed bag of tricks. I got up feeling pretty good. Did the taxes for both my son & his family and DH & myself. For whatever reason, that made my IBS flair up and I was unable to go teach class this morning. Can't be in the pool & having to run to the potty all the time.

As the day wore on, things got a bit better. We took money over to pay my mechanic for the work that he had done on my van & the parts he had bought to use repairing the borrow car that got wrecked the other day. SIGH. I am amazed at how great it looks. All that needs to be done now is to paint it. He tells me that it should be done before Monday. The labor is going to be $600 but he is willing to take payments on that. The parts had to be paid for now. The VAN is running but not well. He's determined that replacing a solenoid in the transmission will fix the final problem. Part cost $30 and then $120 for the labor so I'll have to pull that together too. Oh well, it's actually less than I had expected so the world keeps turning and I am grateful that he's so willing to work with me on the labor.

I had to babysit for the grand-daughters this afternoon & evening. Their dad was late getting home so I took them with me to choir practice. That worked out alright. They played quietly in the sanctuary while we practiced in the back of the church. They are usually pretty good.

I have to babysit again tomorrow but their dad said that he should be home at a decent time. I have to teach class tomorrow night... both a Deep Water class and a swim lesson. I am looking forward to teaching my classes in the morning AND in the evening. I LOVE the pool.

My caloric range is low today. My exercise was also low, but it I'm grateful that I got any done with running back & forth to the bathroom much of the day.

Watching tv tonight and enjoying quiet time with DH. Bright blessings to you all.
