Dwight, Mark & I started today’s ride from the airport. Mark had a blow out just as we turned onto Pine Mtn Dr. which destroyed his rim so he went home. I had gone on thinking he and Dwight would fix a flat and catch up. Soon Dwight did catch up and told me about Mark's situation.

We rode on to Laveroni Park and met Alan there. Then the three of us rode 120 to Rainbow Pool. Just before we got there, we met Mark coming toward us. He'd fixed his bike and took another route and beat us there.

As we started to leave the Pool, Dwight realized he had a flat. We finally headed back. Dwight & Mark left us at the east end of Ferretti. Alan & I rode back to Laveroni Park. Alan gave me a ride home, thank goodness! Beautiful weather, high 50s, sun and clear sky.

I think I’ll sleep well tonight.
