another NSV-

Thursday, January 31, 2013

I had to crawl into my car today by going through the hatch because my doors were frozen shut. The NSV here was that it as easier to do this year than it was last year! Easier- Ha compared to the last several years it a breeze. Although I would rather not do it- I know it will just get easier by being active and a sparky emoticon

Here in Indiana- we can have a day that melts all the snow and later that night get so cold everything freezes. Does make life interesting!

So now I have been thinking of all the other things that I have done in the car when I was lighter and do now and there are so much more that are improved by weighing less..
OH- GET YOUR MIND OUT THE BACKSEAT!
Well- that is ONE of them but so many more...
like bending down to get something that dropped under your feet is one that happens a lot.

Getting things out of the back seat-
Just being more comfortable in the car- so good for road trips.
you won't wear the seat down so fast.
Now that I am thinking about it- better gas mileage. Less weight moved= better MPG emoticon
well- it might not be MPG but I think it would be more efficient.
leaning back to get something for the baby ( had that not to long ago when I was riding with my daughter and Elizabeth.
Cleaning out the car and washing the inside windows are definitely easier!

Can you name anything else?

I remember those days, I used to have to climb in the back seat of my Bel Air because the front lock froze-bout the same as living in Ohio. Snow, melt, and freeze the melted to make things more challenging. It's fun being able to do more and more easily as we become more fit.
I'm not sure what the NSV stands for.

Grew up in IN. Can't say I miss the weather!!!

    WTG!!!

I almost had to do the same thing. Only 3 years ago i would not have been able to. A few good pounding around the edge of the door got one of the back doors open then I had to pust open the drivers door. I got HOT water and poured it into the cracks of the other doors to get them open (had to wipe them off to make sure they didn't freeze again.
