Through with Thursday - at least for this week!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful evening.

My day was quite uneventful, kept on track with exercise and food, so that's a plus.

Weigh in day is tomorrow, I've been doing well all week so I'm not apprehensive about it. I'll take whatever it is.

I'm starting to think about some goals for next week:

Keep going in the 8-week Diabetes Weight Loss Challenge
Continue to record everything I eat in the nutrition tracker
I'm meeting a friend for lunch Saturday at a Chinese Restaurant. I usually order a combination plate - that is bad news. This time I'm going to study their menu and choose 1 item with lots of veggies and chicken or shrimp. I think that will be a better option. emoticon Don't want to look like this Sunday morning.

I'm looking forward to the weekend, not that I have any big plans, but I enjoy the down time.

    Good to see you. Don;t know where I have been. I made chinese for my supper tonite, how was your meal? I haven't been out for chinese, since before I left Alberta, back in Sept... good thing I can cook my own... even had brown rice instead of white... with a rice cooker, it's so easy. And I freeze the second half when I fill the cooker, so tonite's was real easy.

Hope it was a good WI, I haven't been on track too much with either food or exercise, but try to walk to the library almost every day. I almost made a second trip today, it was so nice, but it was getting dark and very slippery. Tomorrow is rain, see how that goes..

    One day at a time, my friend! You most surely will get there! And check & see if the restaurant has a menu online...& you can peruse it ahead of time & make your best picks! That way you won't be tempted to eat something you may regret later! I use that tactic often...& it helps!

    lovely blog.......made me think, always a good thing.

There are such good choices at a Chinese restaurant. Never have I seen an overweight waiter at one. Makes me wonder what they eat, right?

    Enjoyed your blog. Chinese restaurants are a challenge for me, too - trying to order "smart" instead of the old way.

Your saying you were thinking about some goals for next week made me realize I need to review mine. Another member mentioned that she was setting a calories burned per day goal - don't know why, but that never occurred to me! It's a different way of looking at the fitness goals measured in minutes - think I'll try that this week.

I hope you have a relaxing weekend.
