After just a week of intense workouts at the gym, I knew something needed to change. My sneakers sucked. Foot pain has been slowing me down, and that will not do!
So I asked around and I found a great store locally that specialized in fitting sneakers for athletes.
My sweetie and I went after work today and I was really nervous! The folks put me immediately at ease and after watching me go through a fitting my sweetie wanted shoes too! I'm so excited to wear my new sneakers at the gym.
This morning my instructor didn't show up for our group class. I was pretty cranky about it because I arrived at 5:30am just to participate. Luckily another lady from the class buddied up with me to walk around the track. I did 30 minutes on a recumbent bike and then a little weight lifting. It wasn't a total loss but I didn't push as hard as I could have in class.
Today was another good food day! I went to the store to get lots of yummy healthy things and now my fridge feels like a safe place.
Cooking up a spark recipe for stuffed green peppers right now, smells sparktastic!
