So yesterday I decided to take a rest day because I was literally exhausted and did not get enough sleep. To make up for yesterday, I decided to do the cardio kickboxing by Jillian Michaels which is only recommended once a week. I actually kept up with it! I did all the jumping jacks and the jumprope! I'm really able to do things I couldn't do before! I'm shocked and amazed! After the 25 minute video, I incorporated Bob Harper's 20 minute strength. I feel really good. Last but not least, my co-worker noticed that I was losing weight. :) So happy about that!
I also wanted to add that when I took a rest day yesterday, I had take out chinese food for the first time in two weeks. But I ordered something that was I guess you can say on the healthy side. I had tofu! lol Yes tofu with peanut sauce. It was delicious. I also had a small wonton soup and some lettuce wraps for appetizer. So good. I didn't eat it all, so I ate some for lunch today. I still have some tofu left! I may have some later on for dinner not sure yet. But I feel good after being in a rut yesterday. It's horrible when I don't get enough sleep. I told myself that I wont stay up past 11pm anymore. My body needs all the rest it can get so I can have the energy to workout. :)
