down day but still doing better than before...

Well today I was feeling pretty down, this having hardly any money while unemployed is starting to catch up with me and then I remembered that February is a short month and somehow I never had enough money when I was working but now it will definitely be worse- I think because the bills are all crammed in 28 days.

While I have lost 12 pounds I felt very heavy today with no energy. I wanted some comfort food badly. I couldn't imagine getting on the exercise bike. And that's after 3 really high energy days on it this week. I made myself get on and I slugged through every pedal-it didn't seem any easier until about 5 minutes. A train started by my house and I decided to stay on until it went by- they are very slow certain times of the day. (this trick had worked earlier in the week.) Well except for a short water break I did 10 minutes in a row.
Now this will not seem like much to all of you who go to the gym and run marathons and everything but this was huge for me. I started on the bike on 1/12 for 2 minutes per day- lol!
And here on the 31st I did 10 in a row along with 2 min I had done earlier in the day.

Then I said I want to look at the report on the exercise tracker and there was my graph going up all through the month. Looking at those reports from tracking food and exercise are so reinforcing. (and I always hating graphing in school and in research)
So while I am still a little stressed, I have made huge progress in my ability to move so it turned into a good day after all.

    When I stick to my fitness regime, I benefit in so many ways. Glad you are benefiting too.

    Good for you. I think you just inspired me to get going and do some of my exercises.I've been feeling lazy for a couple days
