I have a few things I've been wanting and saving to buy myself when I make some part-way weight-loss goals. But since I've been going up instead of down for the last 2.5 years, I've been waiting for these awhile! But here are my ideas. They're based around the "lose 10% of my current weight" concept except that I'm really trying to lose 20% of my current weight. Still it's good to make a goal every 5% cuz it's setting those intermediate steps and rewarding yourself for getting there and that helps you want to keep going. Or something like that. :)

I kinda want the butterfly wings in time for Halloween, so I might cave in and order them early if it looks like I'm mostly on track for goal. Since they're hand made and popular for Halloween I think she needs like a 2 month lead time to make them. So I'll probably need to order them BEFORE my birthday to get them by the end of October.
As for the tattoo - I've been wanting another one for a long time and feel held back partly because of my weight. The other thing holding me back is my personal skin problems. I scar. Badly. So I can't really ever get one on my back. Arms and legs are pretty much it. I know I want a butterfly, something like a blue morpho probably since they're my favorite. But it might be more fantastical like a swallowtail in purples and blues or with rainbow wings or something. We'll see. When I get to that point, I'll post pictures! If my upper arms aren't too flabby once I've lost weight, I could get it there and it could be bigger and more detailed. Or, I could put it on the inside of my left wrist. It'd be smaller there, and I'd have to be super careful about the scarring, probably get the ink done in stages so my skin can heal in between. But that location is where I can see it every day and remind myself of my own transformation journey and that butterflies don't get to be caterpillars again so I don't either. Regular visible motivation/reminder to stay healthy.
After I finish the Decade Goal I will work on those last 10 pounds to get my BMI out of the "overweight" range and into the "healthy" range. And when I hit that goal, I'll probably go on a cruise with my Hubby or a trip to Hawai'i or something... :D
