Even though I'm struggling right now, there has been some incredible progress in January.

I lost about 5lbs. I'm not 100% sure how much, but I'm sure I was over 238. Yesterday, the scale said 232. Today, mid afternoon, after a workout, it still said 234. I'm okay with that. It's progress.

I did not too bad on the workout front.
I ran 6 out of 7 days.
Then I ran 3 days, and made it to the gym 2 days that next week.

Yes, I fell off track with the trip to Calgary for the weekend, and not feeling well, but I've picked myself back up.

I went to the gym today.

The plan is to go running tomorrow, and back to the gym on Saturday.

I ate clean. The whole time I've been at the new job, I've been planning ahead and bringing my lunch with me. It's been good meals - lots of freggies every day.

I'm up to getting my 8 glasses of water almost every day. It's better than the no water I was getting at the start of January.

So all in all, I'm counting it as a successful month.

We are going to Las Vegas on March 6. I have a jacket I bought when I ran the Rock N Roll Half Marathon in Las Vegas in December. It pulled way too tight across the chest when it was zipped up.

I tried it on today. It's barely pulling at all now.

The plan is to wear it back to Vegas, and it not pulling at all. Lee laughed at me earlier this month about that. Actually it was on January 11. That really hurt.

So now on to February. I need to really take care of me. Focus on my nutrition. Fitness. Drink my water. And do what I can to loose the weight so this jacket fits better before the trip coming up.
