Thank you for your kind comments SP friends. This am I had just gotten up when I got a call from dh's cousin and she was depressed and we both asked each other to go walking, so she picked me up, 15 min. got me showered, dressed, cereal and meds and ready to go. We walked around the forum at least a mile, was talking so I didn't count the laps. Then we went for a drive and she showed me where the pool is and the recyclers and a place called Bras d'Or, which is only like 5 min. up the road and she has a friend who works there and gets $60 a nite in tips... Worth a try? Then we went to Tim's and had lunch.
Came home and dh & I walked to the library and the 2nd Hand store and then we walked to the bakery and got a date square between us for 75 cents. The wind, you wouldn't believe, 90 KM/h warnings. We got home (with the wind at our backs) a lot faster than we got there!!
Finished my book club book this am too.. it was the story of a murderer by Patrick Susskind called "Perfume"... riveting book, and not even grotesque despite he killed 25 virgins.... very compelling, will be interesting to meet with the ladies next week and her other's comments... You weren't even left disgusted at the ending despite its horror. Quite an author. Might be worth checking out another of his books - if it is a totally different topic.
Last nite we watched a movie called "127" the number of hours a guy was trapped by a rock in a canyon and finally had to cut off his arm, which is what was stuck, to be able to escape.... take it or leave it.... and of course, Corrie Street and Strong MEdicine..
Well, got lots of walking in today too, yeah! Think I will make Taco Salad for supper tonite.... have a great evening all..
and I knitted a pair of slippers to donate, just find my darning needle and sew them up, didn't take as long as I thought,, about 2 hrs...
