Getting into a groove

Thursday, January 31, 2013

First, I have to say that last night was not the best. I am proud of myself for doing an extra 10 minutes on my elliptical, but the downside is that my sugars dropped low late last night. See, I am a type 1 diabetic which makes this whole weight loss effort that much more challenging. I have to balance diet, exercise, and insulin to make sure that I stay in a healthy range.

But last night my sugars dropped low and instead of just having a glass of milk and going back to bed, I HAD to add some peanut butter to the equation. It was not really needed and added a huge amount of calories to my daily intake. emoticon To top it off, I had too much because my sugars were high this morning.

That said, today is a new day. And after adjusting my insulin, I hopped right back up on the elliptical and got another 10 minutes of cardio in this morning.

So, here is for another good day (overall) and the beginnings of a workout groove in the mornings.

Hope everyone is doing well, also. emoticon
