Protein Bars, Pain, and Bras oh my!

I found a recipe on spark people for peanut butter fudge protein bars and I ended up making them yesterday. I'm not a big fan of whey protein powder simply because it tastes horrible to me no matter what it done to it to make it taste better... I just can't get over the initial taste and the horrible lingering after taste it leaves in my mouth. I have made protein bars once before and they were okay but I could still taste the whey protein powder a lot so I decided to try the spark people recipe out to see if it was any better and it was! I could really taste the peanut butter, the honey, the cocoa powder, and a very light hint of the chocolate whey protein powder. Overall they turned out good and my boyfriend liked them so he took some to work with him today. I think I'll keep the recipe and change it up a bit next time and try different flavors.
My back is still in a lot of pain with not much to be done. I have a doctor I see at a clinic that takes my county medical but there is a waitlist for appointments. I don't want to have to drive all the way to Oakland (bad area) to the county hospital because it is far away and is in such a bad area with very little parking so I don't want to risk my car being stolen, broken into, or getting a hefty parking ticket. My only other option is a walk-in clinic but they don't have the ability to do xrays or an mri to take a look at my back. They might be able to prescribed some pain medication but that is about it... I want to figure out what is wrong with my back, not just be handed pain meds and be on my merry way. Doctors here simply do not care about back issues or a patient who has back pains... they just want you in and out in 10 minutes or less like we are some drive thru customer.
I'm very excited to have some new bras! I never buy bras because they are so darn expensive but I got a $13.00 bra on clearance at Jc Penneys and I got a gorgeous balconette style (whatever that is) bra on clearance at Avenue for $15.00 I think the total was. I also got a brand new Playtex 18 hour bra for free from a woman on freecycle (an amazing site that has yahoo groups for your area where you can post things you're giving away or looking for. The nice thing is everything must be free and it is a way to cut down on things thrown away taking up space in landfills. The website is www.freecycle.org and you can search for your city and if will list the groups closest to you and all you have to do is join the group.)
