i'm lost

Thursday, January 31, 2013

There are a few positives I have learned first I have quit my soda habit, and I am now exercising everyday. I feel smaller but I have no measuring tape to take measurments althopugh its on my list of to dos.

The trouble is I started at 164 I got as low as 158 but I keep going back up and down a pound from 158 to 159-158-159.5-158.5. I'm not sure if I hit a platoe or if this is as small as i can be.

I went from eating burgers and deep fried wings at least 3 times a week. To tracking everything if not online then on paper because i can't get online. I'm just frustrated that after two months of hard work i'm at 158.5 and not going any lower... or when i get excited and go lower I go back up a few days later.

You're doing great! More weight will come off! Sparkpeople has a paper measuring tape. If you print that maybe you'll feel better seeing the inches come off.

Hellllo! You have lost weight! Don't be so hard on yourself. I have had many many weeks when I only lost ounces. Put that scale away and only concentrate on NON-SCALE Victories! weigh and measure your foods and beverages. Drink your water. Are you following an action plan? Hopefully you are in this for the long haul which means you are making healthy lifestyle choices and permanent changes to your lifestyle.
You have made so much progress! Keep up the good work!

Don't get discouraged, keep at it! I quit the soda habit, too. It was almost as hard as quitting smoking was for me 11 years ago. That's a big step, celebrate it!

If you are exercising a lot, muscle weighs more than fat so you may be losing inches even if the scale isn't reflecting pounds.

If you are at a plateau, change something up and you will start to drop again! Good luck!
