moving forward

I have decided to ignore the scale for awhile, and concentrate on blood sugars, calories, and exercise. I am still on a plateau. The scale drives me crazy!

  Today I put on some clothes and noticed how much looser they were! So did two of my friends! This is the first time that has happened in a long time! I celebrated by making sure I watched portion control, and eating right. Then I did a little dance of joy.... emoticon

    I just posted a similar blog this morning. basically it said that the scale means nothing because we are getting healthier, more fit and have the right state of mind. The scale does not reflect all the positives all the time. "Losing pound on the scale does not mean that you are more fit; it just means that you are lighter, which doesn't mean much at all" Keep your eye on the prize and don't give up!! emoticon
