Mini Goal #5

After I hit 200 (from my high of 230, a 30 pound loss), I wrote down some mini goals to keep me going because it's so much easier to hit 5-10 pound goal than it is to keep on trudging toward a big, far away goal. I wrote them up on the sidebar of my Spark Page and have hit 4 of them so far.

This morning, despite having eaten more than I should have last night (by a couple hundred calories), I am .2 away from hitting mini goal #5. It certainly was a surprise since 2 days ago, I also had way too much salt (I had Panera) and it made me go back up most of that last pound I had lost.

It's both exciting and scary to be so close to a little goal (or any goal for that matter). It's exciting to finally be as skinny as my husband has ever seen me. It's scary that I may not hit the goal as soon as I'd like. I do weigh every day, I just don't write it down until Tuesday, so I can possibly hit a goal mid-week.

So here's to hoping that I'll hit mini goal #5 of 175 this week and continue to stay under it!
