I am on day 4 of Cycle 1 of the Virgin Diet. Basically, I have eliminated gluten, diary, soy, eggs, corn, peanuts, and sugar from my diet. Eggs, corn and peanuts wasn't really a heavy lift because I don't really eat these items anyway. However, my focus is not really on the things that I have eliminated but on what I have gained.
Over the past few days on the Diet and recently joining SparkPeople, I am gaining a whole new perspective on food, fitness and health. I am becoming more thoughtful about what goes in my mouth. I am particularly thankful for all the great recommendations, recipe ideas, and encouragement from others in this Community.
I truly feel blessed with this new chapter in my life. I am starting to fall in love with exercise again and have energy that I have not felt in year. Simply blessed with a heart full of gratitude.
