Survived Day One

Thursday, January 31, 2013

We survived day one of the new computer program at work. Hopefully we didn't make too many mistakes. It definitely did not run smooth. We did not have enough help. There was one support person per six people. That really slowed things down. We are using a program called dragon for dictation. At training we supposedly set it up so it would be ready for our voices and we'd be able to dictate, but when I went into the program, it didn't work and I had to reeducate it. I am going to go in today (my day off) and continue to try to work with things. What a headache.

Good luck. Every new thing or improve things, that are to make life easier are usually a pain in the rear. Kids can learn how to do things so much easier. When I can't do things I always ask my granddaughter, she laughs, but some times gets frustrated with trying to teach me things. I am not good on devices. Have a great day I hope it runs good for you.
