My Adventure....Week 5

Thursday, January 31, 2013

Tuesday I was diagnosed with severe bronchitis and had to be put on Prednisone (steroid that makes you HUNGRY). Lucky me among other meds. Then on the same day my mom calls me to tell me she needs a heart catheter put in on the 5th, that her mammogram showed up something on her right breast and has to go back for more tests and the skin tag they removed from her arm came back needing more tests.

Tuesday night, my son who is still having issues from his surgery, I had to take him to the ER on so they can remove the cast AGAIN due to his incisions are infected and blistering causing severe itching. Then they put some burn cream on him and casted him for the fifth time until he can see his surgeon today at 4pm to be put in another cast. If it is a cast it will be his 6th one since the 18th. I did not get home until 4AM.

I am sick as a dog and had to have my son at his regular doctor's appointment by 8am due to he hasn't stopped coughing since January 7th. So I was on 3 hours of sleep and then came home to work until 4:30. Thank God I work from home!! At this point, I am tired, I am sick, I am aggravated at me and everyone else. I told God he better intervene and Satan to back the heck off and leave me alone.

Then come to find out last night that I left my pedometer hooked to my pants and washed it in the washing machine. So I pulled out the battery and let it dry out. Woohoo...this morning it works just fine.

Now it's Thursday. Still sick, still tired and have a long day ahead of me. Work till 3pm then off to my doctor's to have the veins lasered out of my left leg. Not to mention my side business of filling a vending machine.

Weighed myself again and stuck at 207 but like I said it has been a heck of a week. I could of gave in and gave up but I didn't so I rather be still the same weight then gain it or more back.

Hopefully this week will be better.
