Wow, where did January go? It always amazes me when we get to the end of a month and I don't remember each day and can't figure out how the month flew by so fast.
I went out for two walks yesterday. It was beautiful out, 61 degrees, I even opened some windows when I got home from work. Back to reality today though, it's 27 and not supposed to get warmer than 30. My lunchtime walk was very enjoyable, I did get caught in the rain though, which was ok, since I was outside and it was 61 degrees in JANUARY! My doggie walk after work was a short one, but she enjoyed it as much as I did. We would have walked further, but it was getting dark out and I don't like to take her too far in the dark.
I am going to make this next part my mantra. My mantra used to be I am happy I am healthy I am thin, but I think this is more appropriate:
I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth and what I don't.
I make the choice to exercise or not daily
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind
I make the choice to be healthy!
Goals for today:
~ 80 oz water
~ 10,000 steps
~ Weight Watchers meeting and weigh in at noon
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and snack
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
