I love sweet things. I always loved them.
Almost every day I had something sweet. Especially after dinner. It became a habit for me and my hubby.
On the other hand, I wanted to quit sugar too but I was so attached to it. It was scary to imagine quitting. I thought I couldn't.
Two weeks ago I discovered a book called "I Quit Sugar". It was written by Sarah Wilson who is a journalist, tv host and blogger in Australia. Her book made me realise how bad was sugar (fructose). Her book is not too long, it is informative and easy to read.
I also entered the Spark People's Tame Your Sweet Tooth Challenge. I am in my second week, and I am doing well. After the first week it got a bit easier.
At the end of week 8, I will be sugar free, hopefully. I am faithful. :-)
