It has been a very interesting last 24 hours. I was laid low by a bug that hit like a proverbial bus. One minute I was fine, the next minute I was dizzy, nauseus, and had a pounding head. I had to leave work early (which I never do) to get myself home to bed.

I made it to work today despite my body's protest and made it through the whole day and gradually felt better as the day went on. I am very grateful that it wasn't any worse than it was because I have so many workmates and friends that have been laid low for more than a week. It is amazing how eating a healthy diet and getting regular exercise can help boost the immmune system!

    You are so right! Getting healthy helps our immune system fight those pesky germs! Drink lots of water, and give yourself a pat on the back!
    Don't forget plenty of rest tonight...so you can continue to beat the bug tomorrow!
