My daughter bought a hula hoop filled with water well she was doing it one night and made it look so easy she has never hula hooped and decided I should time her she went for 3 minutes. Well being the smarty I am I said oh that isnt hard I can do that OMG. I twisted it around and down it went over and over I did that twist and down twist and down . I didnt even make it to a minute I wont say how truly horrible I was but it wasnt a pretty sight for sure.
As my daughter tried her hardest not to laugh at me she stated mom Im not sure your burning calories to which I sweetly in my most mom voice said oh yes I am. She said mom Im sure you actually have to make it go around before you can count it I said oh Im not counting the hula hooping Im counting the squats It takes to pick it back up each time hey its exercise.
Anyway I squated, twisted, and sweated for about 20 minutes not once keeping that thing up but I think with all the squating I did to pick it up and all the twist I did to try to keep it in place that had to burn something.
I have not gotten the hang of this circle of hell but it was fun and for some reason I need to prove to myself that I can do it I cant seem to stay away from this thing If I ever get to the point where I can keep it up for a minute then I will brag until then I will do the squats to pick it up off the floor. Who said exercise couldnt be fun and interesting?
