Heading for the deep cold tomorrow

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

Wind chill values of 20 to 40 below. At last count, 169 schools
are either closed or starting late. Our school will start 2 hours
late-for now but that could change.
I made muddy buddies (puppy chow) for the BB game concession
stand tomorrow night to help DD. She made the tavern meat
and all the teachers are contributing to raise funds for the Lego
Robotics project. The game may be postponed due to weather.
I finished some paperwork that had a Jan 31st deadline and it
is all mailed. That's a relief.
Lots of walking in the brisk air and wind today. I think I will
drive tomorrow LOL! At least I got my steps in today. I may
have to be creative tomorrow.
Hope you had a great day. If you live where it is cold, stay
safe and warm. Thanks for stopping by. HUGS!

We're still on that "week on, week off" schedule here. Colder until Monday; mid-30's next week!
(And since we're almost done with January, we're moving right along toward warmer days!)

Have a great Thursday!

It is going to be almost 60 today with high winds and rain and then more like winter i don't like the cold but weird warm weather isn't good either. Bundle up if I know you you will be moving right along top speed.

I know what you're going through. We had some pretty cold weather here as well. We're back in the deep freeze for a few days. Stay warm. Good for you for getting that exercise in even in the cold.

You'll probably think I am nuts, but we have had 70 degree weather the past 2 days, and I am ready for it to get cold again! Tomorrow it will be back in the 40s, and I am ready!

I'll go out when I have to but sure hope my EMT radio
is quiet until it warms up.

Hadn't seen the wind chill numbers. Put the horse in the barn until this lets up, though. Make sure you're wrapped up if you go out. I will!!
