High Protein sub for no-fat cottage cheese?

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

I LOVE cottage cheese, but I am looking for a good, high-protein substitute for snack time.

I want a protein that is low in fat, requires no prep, and that is NOT greek yogurt. Don't get me wrong, I love greek yogurt, but I need something new. Any suggestions? emoticon

Sincerely,
All Cheesed Out

Things have changed since I last replied so I thought I would reply again ;)

I have fallen in love with VitaTops (many great flavors) - 100 calories, 6g protein, and 9g filling fiber. They are great.

No clue. I have been eating a hard boiled egg for protein, tun and greek yogurt. Those are my go to items lately.

I like the ricotta option. You could try string cheese but these are both cheeses.
    These things rock:

You can combine ricotta with some kind of sweetener and several drops of flavoring extract. Vanilla is a good one. I like a combination of almond and cherry. It is pretty good.
