I dont miss him, I miss who I thought he was.

As I sit here, thinking of what I am having trouble with in my weight loss journey, I am being reminded of missing the way I view things. I'm having trouble with losing a friend who became a lover, then lost from my life when I learned he was abusing prescription drugs. So I missing the person I thought he was. And it's the same thing with my weight...I am really missing my old habits, ones I thought had been okay and now am learning are not.

    I am sure that you have heard this before but time heals all wounds. I am sorry about your guy. My brother has a problem and it has almost destroyed my family a few times. I have come to realize that we can't have a relationship until he gets himself together. Eventually the pain will lessen and life goes on a little bit easier. Try not to go back to your old habits if you can. There are plenty of people to turn to in life. Keep your chin up you are strong. Good Luck!
