Yes! Weight is down very nicely again and I have been doing all four workouts a week. Two hours swimming and three hours ballet a week. I am very proud of that, but we have snow tonight so it looks like I will miss my ballet class tonight.
I have been in a GREAT deal of pain. My back and hip joints have hurt terribly but I have pushed myself to carry on and I am glad I have. I had a terribly painful shoulder blade after a swimming session but the next one helped it.
And tracking food? Honestly food is going wonderfully. I shop every two weeks now and buy all the basics we need for meals and snacking. There is always something available to eat and my tastes are definitely changing. I really am looking at fast food as 'junk' where honestly I never did before. I do like to treat myself with chocolate but found that even there I am more picky than I used to be. I picked up bar after bar at Aldi at the weekend calculating points knowing I would eat the whole thing in one go and not one bar seemed worth it to me. Whereas before I would have eaten it and taken it off my extra points I just didn't want to use that many points for it. What I did buy was my favorite chocolate butter biscuits that were a firm favorite in England too. They gave me the chocolate I wanted but even the whole box was more value for points than the chocolate bars. And I couldn't eat the whole box!!
I am eating a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables, humuus, greek yogurt, lean meats and fish. I am retraining myself to enjoy vinaigrette type dressings instead of the creamy ones. What I do is concentrate really hard on the flavor of the food and telling myself how wonderful all the fresh flavors are. I enjoy the crispness and freshness of salad, the sweetness of fruit, quartered oranges now seem so much more satisfying, sweet and juicy.. I really don't need processed orange juice.
The scales are responding.. and that is all I need to continue tracking the food and working out like crazy. I feel good.. how great is that?
