It's been awhile since I blogged. Spark People completely helped me lose weight in 2009. I did great!
Sadly, I'm back and starting over. My DH is a great cook! And Italian.
So here goes... a list of quick healthy meals I enjoy.
Breakfast-
I still don't enjoy breakfast. For now, I drink a little V8 and have a protein bar. Who has time for breakfast during the week? For those that do, I admire your ability to roll out of bed 15 minutes early.
Lunch-
Peanut butter and celery or an apple is a great lunch. Some Greek yogurt on the side.
Soup and salad is super quick and easy but I'm really trying to get away from prepared soups and all the sodium.
A pita, some roasted red pepper hummus and an apple.
A packet of sweet and spicy tuna with crackers.
Dinner-
Love black bean burgers!
Spicy sloppy joes with broccoli slaw.
Baked potato with lemon pepper and a little butter.
Sauteed green beans
Broccoli steamed in the microwave with a little butter and garlic
I definitely need more recipes! Will keep this as a project.
