I've been doing this for almost a month now logging everything I eat and I've vastly improved my exercise habits. But the scale has not moved since I first started. I dropped 6 pounds right off. Nothing since which is a total bummer. But, I'm not too upset. Why? Because I have been working so hard. I promised myself this time even if my weight loss was so painfully slow I was going to stick with the changes and not throw the towel and I've done it! Usually I give it a couple of weeks and when nothing happens I give up. That's the horrible attitude that got me into needing to lose so much weight in the first place. It's not magic I didn't get this way overnight and it sure isn't going to come off overnight!
I am at least improving my health by consistently working out! I haven't made an excuse yet at night to talk myself out of my workout which I am pretty proud of. I have a Disney trip coming up in May and walking the World isn't for the weak. You have to have endurance. I'm using that as my motivation to keep myself going! I'm not going to be able to sit down in the middle of Main Street so I shouldn't think it's okay to sit on my couch and not move when I should be!
Here's to another month of workouts, tracking food, and staying positive!
