One of my suggested goals is a 5 minute daily pep talk.
I hope I'm not cheating. I don't talk-I write. Every day I do "morning pages"... three pages of writing-whatever streams out of my head. It started as negative things, but that's rare these days. Now it's bits of dreams I remember, things I want to accomplish, story ideas, and I end with YOU CAN DO THIS and give reasons why.
Today I said, "I CAN DO THIS because I have the strength of my Scottish ancestors running though my veins, and they survived far worse than avoiding McDonald's french fries."
