Hi, everyone --
Cabo is gorgeous. The weather was warm, the pace was slow, the company was wonderful. All in all, a great time.
I really had food challenges. By the second full day, I figured out that I should have a light breakfast (generally fruit and pan dulce), a moderate lunch (generally ceviche and chips with salsa), and a light dinner (generally soup and a taste of whatever my husband was eating). If we had dessert, we split it. Of course, the beer and margaritas killed me -- even though I drink moderately, alcohol is just unnecessary calories that really pack it on!
As I don't want to feel totally demoralized, I'm putting off weigh-in for a while, and am back back to eating normally.
Food challenges for the month of February include Friday's cioppino feed benefit, the big Super Bowl Party at The Boy's "In-laws," several post-birthday celebration lunches (I have wonderful friends!), Valentine's Day lunch with my husband, a meal with The Boy and His Bride-to-be, and a weekend with The Girl... life is full and beautiful.
Salads and split-plates are my best friends! LOL --
I found out that when I am AWOL from SP for several days, I don't get email notices of all of your blog posts, so I am going to try to catch up with everyone's lives this week.
