First off, I wrote a blog yesterday on The Chicken Scoop and forgot to post it here. Oops! It is a simple recap of Week 1 on Body Beast: how it works, what the DVDs are like, and how I'm enjoying it (I LOVE it!!)

Second, big news for my Chicken Scoop blog: I've been accepted as a Sweat Pink ambassador!!

Bonuses of being a Sweat Pink Ambassador is that I will be part of a network of like-minded lady bloggers to help inspire others and reach even more people! I am very excited to get going with this group! Other perks for sure but we will see what they are as they come along :)

emoticon In other news, I had a horrible gluten reaction this weekend due to my silly decision to eat loads of pizza on Sunday. I won't share my list of symptoms so no one is grossed out but I made a list of them to remind me the next time I think I want a gluten bomb for dinner. Rob and I have already agreed to never order pizza again. I'm ok if I eat small amounts (like one slice) but having it in the house is a no-no. I am feeling much better now so that is good!

emoticon Due to the horrible feeling on Monday, I skipped a day of Body Beast and we started up again on Tuesday. Still loving the program! My arms aren't as sore today as they were last time I did the chest and tris video. Adapting already? Perhaps.

emoticon I've not been doing my walking lately which is starting to bug me. The weather has been absolutely awful. Even today, its warm but like 80% humidity and looks like its about to rain any second. It hasn't been nice enough for a walk in like a month. I want the sun back!

emoticon And that's pretty much everything! I took (another) little break from blogging over the weekend and it was wonderful. I tweeted and instagram-ed but I didn't really go onto my laptop (restricted myself to phone use). By Monday, I felt so much more relaxed than I have been. I spend a lot of time for school research on the computer and just need to step away sometimes. Now I'm back with better ideas and clearer thoughts! Anyway, speaking of research, I need to get to it!     sorry about the pizza bomb. have you ever had gluten free pizza crust? my local pizza joint makes one that is DELICIOUS. look into it and try toppings that don't up the gluten olive oil instead of tomato sauce, etc. because everyone has to have pizza emoticon

    emoticon emoticon As for the pizza--that's my downfall, too. Not the calories so much as there's soooooooo much sodium in it! Especially with all the junk I like on it!

    Congrats on being Sweating Pink ambassador! I am glad you are feeling better stomach wise, food can really cause our bodies to hurt. Sounds like you're doing well. Off to read your blog about The Body Beast!

    You know I can't even use a spoon that dipped in somebody's coffee with syrup in it! It's good that you have some tolerance (like I can tolerate a little corn or tapioca) but it's SO HARD to not over do it. I had some (6) gluten-free cookies the other day and I'm still in trouble. One? Yes. Six? Erm, no.
