Nearing end of January's Celebration of Winter snow

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

Just two more days of January ... woke to 19 degrees and fog...I hoped for some pretty frost pictures but not going to happen...but I will take the sunshine! Just starting to peak through in this shot and by 10am we we're up to 28 degrees..

Have a blessed day and CHOOSE JOY...reading a book of that theme..."You Gotta keep Dancing...In the Midst of Hurts___CHOOSE JOY" by Tim Hansel
And since I just seem to need two pictures I am going to add a picture from internet...
Moondogs in Alaska but I don;t know photographer credit to give...I call this phenomena 'moon rainbows' and it fascinates me. I love Northern Lights pictures too.

I like your themed blogs, and always nice pictures. It's nice to know that snow still exists, too - living here one wouldn't think it. Yesterday it was 80, but a cold front blew through and I think the high today was about 60. Nothing like a little variety!

It's been a long time since I experienced 19 degrees. I realy hope I don't again but I still enjoy your beautiful pictures but also am grateful I am not where it snows any more. Where is it you live?
